Today is the final day to register for the genealogy bus trip to the Allen County Public Library Genealogy Center in Fort Wayne taking place on Wednesday, April 17. The center has an extensive collection of North American genealogy resources, and all books are available in open stacks. The cost is just $35 per person. Please send the signed reservation form and check/money order, payable to the La Porte County Genealogical Society, to: La Porte County Genealogical Society, PO Box 365, La Porte, IN  46352. Paid reservations are due by March 25. Find the reservation form here.

Pick-up is available at Marquette Mall in Michigan City and Kabelin’s Ace Hardware in LaPorte. The bus will pick up in front of the former Marquette Theatre at Marquette Mall at 7:00 am. The bus will pick up at Kabelin’s Ace Hardware in LaPorte at 7:30 am.

The bus will leave Allen County Public Library for the return trip at 4:00 pm. Co-sponsored by Michigan City Public Library and the La Porte County Genealogical Society.
