Do you have a hidden treasure in your attic that you would like to have appraised? Then mark your calendars now for the Friends of the Library Collector’s Corner Breakfast on Saturday, April 22 at 9:00 am. Each ticket holder will be allowed to bring one item to be appraised by Mr. Martin Papke of Kathy’s Antique Shop in Chesterton. Tickets are available from a Friend board member or at the Library’s Circulation Desk for $25 each. Each person at the event can bring one item for appraisal by Martin Papke of Kathy’s Antiques in Chesterton. Catering is by Portofino’s of LaPorte. Join us for this entertaining event! The breakfast will be held at St. John’s U.C.C. Fellowship Hall in Michigan City and proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Library’s efforts to provide services and programs at MCPL.
