1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a free reading program offered by the library. Children from birth through age 5 (or until they enter kindergarten) are invited to join the program.


STEAM Ahead Kids

The library offers a variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) programs for kids and teens. These fun and educational activities are aligned with Indiana Academic Science Standards and are designed to engage children’s creative and critical thinking skills.

Join us for stories, songs, activities, and crafts at this early childhood introduction to quality children’s literature. For children between birth and 5 years old with an adult.

Build A Better World

Summer Reading Program

Celebrate the joy of reading and earn a fun reward along the way! Read anything you like: books, e-books, magazines, newspapers, and more. Listen to audiobooks. Listen while someone reads to you. Earn prizes for the number of hours that you read. For kids and adults.
