Current Newspapers in Print

The library subscribes to the following newspapers:

The print editions of the Michigan City News Dispatch are kept until the microfilm covering those editions is received. The News Dispatch is held in print or microfilm in perpetuity. All other current newspapers are kept for one week.

Three microfilm reader/printers are available to use within the library. Printing is $0.15 a page.

The Indiana State Library lends microfilm reels of Indiana newspapers to libraries across the country. Please visit the state library site for a complete list of their newspaper holdings. Please stop by the Reference Desk or call 219-873-3044 for more information on interlibrary loan.
