Needle Arts Club & Warm Up America
December 8, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The club promotes all forms of needle arts. Membership is open to anyone interested in needle arts such as crochet, knitting, needlepoint, cross-stitch, crewel, tatting, and other hand stitching. All skill levels and ages are welcome. An exchange of skills and materials is encouraged. Help us Warm Up America by knitting or crocheting afghan sections! We have veteran crocheters and knitters with extra supplies to help you get started. Once we have enough sections, they will be joined together to make afghans to be donated to those in need in our community. You are also welcome to work on any other handicraft project on your own at Needle Arts Club.
The library’s local chapter of Warm Up America is open to all ages and skill levels. Warm Up America is a 501(c)3 charity made up of volunteers who knit and crochet handmade afghans and clothing for those in need. Contact Jessica in Literacy at (219) 873-3043 for more information.
