First Day of Summer Reading Program

June 7

Summer Reading Program: Tails and Tales

2021 Summer Reading Program: Tails and Tales
June 7 – July 21, 2021

The Summer Reading Program is for all ages and 100% free to participate! For every 10 hours you read, read to someone else, or listen to someone read, you’ll receive a chance in the raffle for some fantastic prizes.

Signing up is easy! Download a reading log and keep track of your reading hours at home. There are also reading logs available in Youth Services that you may take home.

Beginning June 7, 2021, click here to record your hours and enter the raffle. After every 10 hours of reading, you’ll receive another entry for the raffle, so make sure you select which prize you would like to try to win. You may also record your hours by emailing SRP@mclib.org or calling Youth Services at 219-873-3045.

Earn a chance to win a fantastic prize–just for reading! For every ten (10) hours that you read, are read to, or read to someone else, you’ll receive a chance in the raffle for these amazing prizes. Click here to download the list of prizes.

Check back every week for online craft programs and suggested books to read for ages birth through 18 years! Supplies for the crafts will be available at the Youth Services desk while supplies last.
