Are you moving or downsizing and have beautiful craft supplies that need a new home? Do you want to try a new craft at no cost until you know if you enjoy it? Michigan City Library’s Needle Arts Group is ready to help you with this. We are hosting a Craft Exchange on August 9 and 10.

Starting at 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday, August 9, come to the library meeting room with your surplus craft supplies. Items will be available for swapping and exchanging until 5:00 PM. This event continues on Saturday, August 10, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You can take home what you need to try a new project or discover a new skill. No money will be changing hands, just craft supplies in good condition and all the great ideas that go with them! Bring a bag or tote for your own convenience. Items will be sorted by types–yarn, fabric, beads, patterns, paints, needles, hoops, hooks, etc. Any leftover items will be donated to a place yet to be determined.
