      Summer Reading Program

Dig Into Reading
June 10 - July 27, 2013

Let's celebrate the joy of reading! Read anything you like: books, magazines, newspapers, and more. Listen to audiobooks. Listen while someone reads to you. Earn prizes for the number of hours that you read.

Children: 15 hours = a prize

Adults: 30 hours = a prize

Fill out a reading log at the library's Youth Services desk to record your hours. The last day to record hours is July 27, 2013.

It's time to go Rockin' and Reading with Leonardo when he strums into town bringing his humorous, high energy musical program! Summer Reading will rock with this inspiring music show where audiences unearth their hidden talents. Get ready to sing, dance and "jam" with Leonardo. Leonardo is a Parents' Choice award winner. Wednesdays, June 19 & 26 and July 3, 10, 17 & 24, 10:00 a.m.

It's Story Time Wednesdays! Children will enjoy stories, flannel board activities, songs, and crafts. Children birth through 5 years with an adult.

Fun Activities Every Thursday MorningDig into Reading
Thursdays, June 20 & 27 and July 4, 11, 18, & 25, 10:00 a.m.

Join us for exciting hands-on activities every Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Each week we will "dig into" new themes and activities. For children ages 6 and up. The Summer Reading Program is for all ages, even adults! Everyone has a chance to earn prizes just for reading. Stop in Youth Services to register and for more information.

Bubble Wonders

You'll never look at bubbles the same way again! Join us to watch a bubble expert create bubble caterpillars, ice cream cones, snowmen, volcano bubbles, the square bubble, a bubble merry-go-round, and much, muich more. There will even be a child inside a bubble!
