The Michigan City Public Library offers free in-library word processing (Microsoft Word 2000)
& spreadsheet (Excel) software for our patrons.
Both typewriters & word processors are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

All users are advised to read our Computer Use Policy.
Sign-up is required at the Reference Desk.
There is a two (2) hour limit if others are waiting.

Although patrons may not use their own paper at the word processing stations,
they may purchase paper from the library at $.10 a page for printing at the stations.
It is understood that all patrons using word processing have a base knowledge of how to use it.
