Oral History Tapes of La Porte County

In the late 1970's the Michigan City Public Library recorded oral histories, remembrance
and observation of numerous La Porte County residents. Many of the remembrances
date back to before the 1900's. These tapes proved a unique view of a 'simpler' way of life now long gone.
