Become a Literacy Tutor

The Learning Center at the Michigan City Public Library needs reading and math tutors for adults and children.  Training to tutor children in reading will be presented September 3 and 4 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. by Marilyn Sirugo, literacy supervisor, in the Meeting Room of the library.  Training to tutor adults will be September 9 and 10 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. in the Meeting Room. Attendance both days in necessary to complete each training. Math tutors do not need to attend a training session.
