Michigan City Public Library Michigan City, Indiana Special Services Interlibrary Loan

The Michigan City Public Library endeavors to provide materials not owned by our Library through Interlibrary Loan. I.L.L. service is provided to Michigan City Public Library cardholders. Anyone with a current, non-delinquent Michigan City Public Library card can initiate a request for interlibrary loan. Patrons with any delinquency will not receive I.L.L. service until the delinquency is cleared.

• Patrons may have two active book requests and three magazine article requests at any one time.

• Requests for I.L.L. renewal must be made at least 4 days before the book is due back.

• I.L.L. patrons are responsible for lost or damaged I.L.L. materials.

• Materials that are not picked up three days before the due date will be returned to the lending library.
