LaPorte County Soldier’s Discharge Records, 1865-1898 – Contains a record of honorable discharges from U.S. military service, showing dates of enlistment, discharge, and recording; name, age, rank, color, address, and service record of veterans; physical condition when discharged; marital status; etc. Also available through FamilySearch.
