Novel Conversations with Edward Kelsey Moore

Indiana Humanities awarded 22 public libraries the opportunity to host a speaker from the 2016 Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award. MCPL will host author Edward Kelsey Moore. Moore is an Indianapolis native and the author of the best-selling novel The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat. The novel, Moore’s first, was named a 2013 Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writer’s selection, received a 2014 First Novelist Award by the Black Caucus of the American Library Assn. and was selected as a 2014 Illinois Reads book by the Illinois Reading Council. It’s also been optioned for movie rights. His second novel, The Supremes Sing the Happy Heartache Blues, will be released this summer. This program is funded by a grant from The Glick Fund, a fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation and the Indiana Humanities.
