[image] Baby Talk areaBabyTALK (Teaching Activities for Learning and Knowledge) is first and foremost a parent education program. We encourage parents to plan an active role in educating their babies. We believe that parents are their children's first and most important teachers.

Any parent(s) of a newborn - 23 months old can register. Registration is on-going in the Youth Services Department

At registration, we will take a picture of you and your baby for the photo gallery in the BabyTALK corner. You will receive a copy of Goodnight Moon, a bibliography Read for Joy, and a tour of the BabyTALK collection.

We encourage you to read through Read for Joy and check out these and other books located in the BabyTALK corner. We also encourage you to check out and use the PARENT materials located in the PARENT'S SHELF COLLECTION.  When your child is between 12 and 24 months old, you and your child will receive a written invitation to participate in a Lapsit session.
